I'm looking forward to seeing young ones Joy. There is a Mr. and Mrs. And the young one from last year hangs around too. He's the first one down here every night. He's not as pretty as the female mom though. The bugs have been too bad at night for the past few nights so I haven't been standing in my open window waiting. But one of these nights I'll catch them. And when the mom has weened her kits, she is usually down here in the daylight. Then I can get real good shots of her. I did last summer.
I am going to add photos of some of the animals I've seen from my window . It's amazing what I see from just two windows! But I do live on the outskirts of the village, next to a patch of woods, so the animals come down to eat what the birds and squirrels don't. I love watching them. The Gray Fox families are my favorite. They bring their young out around June of each year and it's a joy to watch them run and play. I see the woodchuck a lot in the summer also. They are so much fun at times to watch. I also reached out the window one summer with my rubber ended grabber and picked up a small baby toad and brought it inside to take some photos of it. They are so cute. Then I put him back when I was done. I am fascinated by all creatures. I never had the opportunity to view them up close till I moved here. I've made a lot of these pages with a digital scrapblog site online. It was called Scrapblog. They are no longer in business. I sure miss them. Mixbook bought them out but it's not what Scrapblog was. So I don't make these cute pages any more. Enjoy my little stories and photos!
Don't go out much because of Post Polio. I used to take pictures of the wildlife outside my window, but I'm not allowed to feed them any more, so now there is nothing out there. I'm trying to find another apartment because of secondhand smoke that is killing me for the past two years. My cancer is growing again, so have gotten strict with my diet again, and taking special supplements. I'll wait and see if it works. other than that, I'm okay. :)
Update; May 16, 2015
I'm doing okay and sticking to only organic foods, gluten free, no meats or sugar. feeling good. have lost 50 lbs. since last April 1st. I'm not having any pains, so I'm lucky. :)
Update-November, 2015-I made it to my five year mark, since the doctors told me I'd only live about a year. I'm still here! Sticking to all organic foods, no sugar, no meats, except for organic eggs. On the Budwig Cancer Protocol now. Getting organic, raw milk from a nearby farm and making my own cheese. Information in my posts. I'm thin, but feel good. Lots better than that 187 lbs. I was at a year and a half ago! I'm at 120 now. I really need to eat more. Sometimes I forget to eat a lot..Ha!
You have a great array of night critters!! I loved how you presented these photos too!
